Overview

As a Seatech Marine Products B2B customer, dealer, reseller, installer, service provider, OEM, or wholesale account, you are responsible for following all applicable manufacturer pricing policies for the products you purchase from us.

Manufacturer pricing policies may include MAP, UPP, MWP, MAP Wholesale, MAP Retail, Minimum Advertised Price, Minimum Web Price, Unilateral Pricing Policy, or similar pricing restrictions.
These policies may apply to website pricing, marketplace listings, shopping feeds, paid ads, email promotions, social media posts, printed ads, quotes shown publicly, or any other advertised price.
Manufacturer policies may vary by brand, product line, part number, sales channel, country, or effective date.
When a manufacturer policy applies, you must follow the most current policy and pricing information provided by the manufacturer, Seatech Marine Products, or the applicable distributor.

Important: If you are unsure whether a part has a MAP, UPP, MWP, or similar pricing restriction, contact us before advertising, listing, promoting, or reselling the product online.

Common pricing terms

The exact meaning and requirements of these terms are controlled by the applicable manufacturer policy. If there is a conflict between this page and a manufacturer’s current written policy, the manufacturer’s current written policy controls.

Manufacturer pricing policies

Seatech Marine Products distributes products from multiple manufacturers. Some manufacturers provide specific MAP, UPP, MWP, list, MSRP, dealer, wholesale, or OEM pricing fields. B2B customers must follow the applicable policy for each manufacturer and product line.

Manufacturer policies and price sheets can change without notice. It is your responsibility to confirm the current pricing policy before publishing or advertising prices.

Advertising and online listing rules

Unless the manufacturer’s written policy allows otherwise, B2B customers may not advertise covered products below the applicable MAP, UPP, MWP, or similar manufacturer-designated minimum price.

Covered advertising includes, but is not limited to:

Your website or ecommerce store
Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Google Shopping, Facebook Marketplace, and other online marketplaces
Google Ads, Bing Ads, shopping feeds, paid social ads, retargeting ads, or promoted listings
Email marketing, newsletters, SMS marketing, or automated abandoned cart emails
Social media posts, reels, videos, captions, or promotional graphics
Printed flyers, catalogs, trade show handouts, brochures, or price sheets
Public quote pages, online quote tools, downloadable PDFs, or product comparison pages

Examples of pricing practices that may violate policy:

Showing a product price below MAP, UPP, MWP, or the manufacturer’s stated minimum price.
Using coupon codes, automatic discounts, instant rebates, strike-through pricing, or “add to cart for lower price” messaging in a way that violates the manufacturer’s policy.
Bundling products in a way that effectively advertises a covered product below the allowed minimum advertised price.
Publishing Seatech dealer, wholesale, OEM, or confidential B2B pricing on a public website or marketplace.
Advertising outdated prices after a manufacturer price update.

Do not assume a discount is allowed because the checkout system permits it. The customer is responsible for ensuring all public pricing, promotions, coupons, marketplace feeds, and advertised offers comply with the applicable manufacturer policy.

B2B pricing and confidentiality

B2B, dealer, wholesale, OEM, discounted, quoted, and account-specific pricing is confidential.
Your pricing is assigned to your approved account and may not be shared, published, reposted, forwarded, or made available to the public.
Pricing is subject to change without notice due to manufacturer updates, tariffs, freight changes, currency changes, supplier cost changes, or product availability.
Website pricing, quote pricing, and verbal pricing are not final until accepted and confirmed by Seatech Marine Products.
Quoted pricing may expire and may be revised if manufacturer pricing, tariffs, freight, or availability changes before the order is placed.
Dealer, wholesale, OEM, and account-specific discounts are not transferable to another business, person, website, marketplace account, or related company without written approval.

Best practice: Before listing products online, request the current MAP/UPP/MWP guidance for the specific manufacturer or product line you plan to advertise.

Quotes, special pricing, and negotiated orders

Special quotes, project pricing, OEM pricing, volume pricing, and negotiated pricing are for the approved customer and order only.
Special pricing does not authorize the customer to advertise below manufacturer MAP, UPP, MWP, or similar pricing policies.
Special pricing may not be used as a published retail price, online advertised price, or marketplace price unless approved in writing.
All quotes are subject to product availability, manufacturer pricing, tariffs, freight, lead times, and final order review.

B2B customer responsibilities

Maintain current pricing on your website, marketplace listings, catalogs, and advertising channels.
Remove, update, or correct any listing that violates manufacturer pricing policy.
Monitor third-party listing tools, automated repricers, shopping feeds, marketplace integrations, and ecommerce plugins.
Do not use Seatech’s confidential B2B pricing as a public advertised price.
Ask for clarification before advertising if a manufacturer pricing field is unclear.
Notify Seatech Marine Products promptly if you discover an incorrect price, outdated price, or possible policy violation.

Policy violations

Failure to follow manufacturer pricing policies may affect your ability to purchase from Seatech Marine Products and may also affect our standing with the manufacturer.

We may request immediate correction or removal of non-compliant advertising or listings.
We may place orders on hold until the issue is corrected.
We may remove account discounts, special pricing, dealer pricing, or B2B access.
We may cancel open orders, refuse future orders, or suspend the B2B account.
Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal from the B2B program.
Manufacturer violations may be reported to or reviewed by the applicable manufacturer.

Correction period: If we notify you of a possible MAP, UPP, MWP, or pricing violation, please correct the issue immediately and confirm once corrected.

Common questions

Can I sell below MAP privately?

Manufacturer policies vary. Some policies apply only to advertised prices, while others may apply to selling price, online cart price, marketplace price, or other channels. Contact us before offering private discounts on products covered by a manufacturer policy.

Can I use coupon codes or automatic discounts?

Not if the discount results in an advertised price or online offer that violates the manufacturer’s MAP, UPP, MWP, or similar policy. This includes automatic cart discounts, coupon codes, instant rebates, abandoned cart discounts, and marketplace promotions.

Can I publish my dealer price?

No. Dealer, wholesale, OEM, quote, and account-specific pricing is confidential and may not be publicly posted, advertised, forwarded, or shared.

What if my marketplace repricer changes the price automatically?

You are responsible for all prices advertised by your account, including prices created by repricing tools, marketplace integrations, shopping feeds, or automated promotions.
